Pallet Racks
Pallets can be stored in a wide variety of storage racks. When choosing the most appropriate rack for your warehouse, you need to consider several factors:
- The size and weight of your pallets
- Your lift equipment
- Your warehouse design & layout, which include such factors as ceiling height and product flow
- Special circumstances related to your product, such as needing to stored in cooler or a need for secured storage.
The weight of your pallets will determine whether you need roll formed or structural rack.
The most common type of pallet rack is Selective Pallet Rack , in which pallets are generally stored one deep with a 10 to 12 foot forklift aisle between rows (single or back to back) of rack.
